Short Stay car parking is intended for people simply waiting for relatives or sorting out travel arrangements at the airport. Up to 30 minutes costs £2.50, so you can already see that this is not somewhere where you want to leave your car for a large amount of time; the cost for every 24 hours stay is £47.
