With Heathrow Airport being such a major hive of activity, it seems sensible that there be an excellent number of locations from which to rent a car from. The only problem is getting to the locations with Heathrow airport being a huge plot of land you’ll find you may have to walk quite a distance to get to the locations when you’ve got heavy luggage it may well be best to get the rental companies to bring your rental car to you; something they will happily do to win your business.

Should you choose to make your own way there, let us look at some locations. Firstly, if you go along the major road out of Heathrow you will find yourself staring straight at two car hire premises. The first is Heathrow Airport Car Hire and the second EuropCar. Both these car hires are big companies and have a wide range of cars for you to choose from. EuropCar is probably the bigger out of the two with locations across Europe. If neither of these companies completely satisfy your needs, you should carry on up the road to the end where there is a junction. Here, take a left and you will find another branch of Heathrow Airport Car Hire, followed shortly by Thrifty. Thrifty is the place to go if you are looking for affordable car hire; they have a wide range of deals to fit even the tightest of budgets. Again, they have an excellent website where you can check their latest offers. Following this road further will bring you up with other car hire locations such as Yello and Avis, however it really is getting a bit too far to travel at this point; if you haven’t already found the right car for you it may be time to give up!

Heathrow Airport Car Parking

Heathrow airport is the most popular and the busiest airport in the country and is certainly one of the most used airports in the world. It is one of the largest airports and has been for some time as it continually expands to meet the growing demand for services. The opening of the new Terminal 5 and the prospective building of a third runway will increase the number of flights that are available to all sorts of destinations and, as a result, decrease the cost of the flights. When supply outstrips demand the price must fall in order to ensure that more people choose you over someone else. This simple business model is replicated in all sorts of industries and will certainly occur if Heathrow expands further. The result of this will be cheaper flights which will naturally attract many more people to the airport (why would you pay more to get a flight when a short journey can take you to an airport offering the same service for a fraction of the cost?).

Rest assured in the knowledge that, no matter how busy the airport becomes the car park will be able to cope with the increased demand. Every terminal has its own long and short stay car parks and they are all able to accommodate upwards of 200 cars at a time. The cost is kept low to ensure that you aren’t put off from using the service and you can leave your car knowing that, when you get back, it will be there waiting for you.
