I am so glad that the weather is finally starting to get warm again. I know that winter this year was basically the same as it is every year, but for one reason or another, it not only seemed like the weather was colder this year, but it seemed like the winter season lasted for longer than normal (before you start attributing this to reverse global warming, I have already looked up the facts, and the weather was only slightly different from the previous five winters; it was simply my perception of things that made it seem so much worse than normal). Fortunately, as I said, it is finally starting to get warmer, and although I would be perfectly happy if it was already summer, I will take what I have right now.

Speaking of summer, in addition to hot weather, I have something else to look forward to this year. In July, I am going to be taking a ten day trip to London. London is a place that I have always wanted to visit, so I am very excited that I am finally getting a chance to make my dream of visiting there come true.

I have actually known since December that I was going to London in July, because that is when I booked my flight. Since I am flying to Heathrow airport, I also booked a Heathrow airport car rental on-line. From all of the travel books that I have read, I have learnt that it’s a good idea to get a rental car in a place like London, because it is the easiest (and most economical) way to get around the city.
